Sanibel is a surprisingly dog-friendly area. The island doesn’t allow dogs everywhere, but many dog-friendly attractions exist. Therefore, it is a suitable spot to visit with your canine. Of course, some laws and regulations should be kept in mind, however. In total, there are four dog-friendly beaches in the area. These beaches have very similar regulations, so it mostly depends on which beach you’re closest to. However, each beach also has its own pros and cons that you should keep in mind.
